Patrick Wales-Dinan boasts an impressive coaching career spanning over 18 years across high school, college, and club levels. He graduated from Bates College in 2005 with a degree in Economics and was a standout athlete, being a two-time All-New England runner and part of Bates' 2004 NCAA Championship cross-country team.

After graduating, Patrick began his coaching journey, starting as head coach for cross-country and track at Traip Academy in Maine. He later served as assistant coach at the University of Southern Maine, helping the women's teams clinch multiple league titles. Patrick also held coaching positions at Williams College, Duke University, and Harvard University, where his leadership inspired athletes to national and NCAA successes.

Since 2012, he has coached at Long Beach State University, guiding athletes to record-breaking performances and NCAA qualifiers. Patrick is certified as a USATF Level II Coach for endurance events and continues to shape athletes into top competitors through a blend of technical expertise, mentorship, and motivational leadership.
